Head Cross Country Coach

The Head Cross Country Coach leads and manages Penn State York's cross country program, focusing on coaching, training, recruiting, and fostering a positive team environment. This role supports the academic and athletic success of student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement training programs.
• Conduct practices and conditioning sessions.
• Provide individualized coaching.
• Recruit talented high school athletes.
• Maintain relationships with high school coaches and prospective students.
• Ensure compliance with all PSUAC and USCAA rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of cross country training.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Evening, weekend work, and travel required.
