Head Football Coach

Drake University is seeking a Head Football Coach to join its athletics department. The successful candidate will support a positive academic, athletic, and social environment for student-athletes while creating a culture of excellence and ethics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge of applicable NCAA Rules and regulations.
• Knowledge and basic proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency to produce scouting reports, recruiting evaluations, and complete work within deadlines.
• Ability to develop and sustain relationships with prospective student-athletes, parents, and coaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience playing at the collegiate level preferred.
• Coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level preferred.
• Skills to help student-athletes improve through training/coaching.
• Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
