Head Football Coach

Middle Park High School is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Head Football Coach to lead the revitalization of our football program. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader to build a competitive and character-driven team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of football fundamentals, a proven track record of developing student-athletes, and a commitment to fostering a positive and supportive team culture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive football program that emphasizes fundamental skills, strategic game planning, and player development at all levels (varsity, junior varsity, freshman).
• Establish and maintain a positive and disciplined team culture that promotes respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Develop and execute a long-term plan for program growth and sustainability, including player recruitment and retention.
• Oversee all aspects of the football program, including practice organization, game preparation, and player evaluation.
• Provide effective coaching and instruction to enhance players' physical and mental skills.
• Implement a strength and conditioning program designed to improve player performance and reduce injuries.
• Monitor players' academic progress and provide support to ensure academic eligibility.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages players to reach their full potential

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a football coach at the high school level or beyond.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful football programs.
• Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, strategies, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
• Valid coaching certification and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Background check clearance.
• Experience in rebuilding a program is highly desired.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
