Description
The Head Football Coach will be responsible for developing and sustaining a strong, competitive Division 1 football program.
Key Qualifications:
- Dealing with high visible media presence in an effective and professional manner.
- Supervising, developing, and evaluating football staff and student-athletes.
- Ability to maintain discipline and develop a positive relationship with team members while motivating them to excellence.
- Thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and have a history of successful compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and protect the fiscal integrity of the athletics program and the University.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with student-athletes, administrators, support staff and community groups.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and project a professional approach and attitude.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year institution.
- Eight (8) years of experience coaching collegiate football or equivalent NFL coaching experience.
- Dealing with high visible media presence in an effective and professional manner.
- Supervising, developing, and evaluating football staff and student-athletes.
