Head Girls Basketball Coach

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and conducting practices, games, and tournaments.
• Provide individual and team instruction, focusing on skill development, strategy, and sportsmanship.
• Support the Head Coach in developing game plans and analyzing team performance.
• Lead and manage the Junior High Girls team.
• Foster a positive and motivating environment for student-athletes.
• Maintain equipment and ensure the safety and well-being of all team members.
• Uphold the values and standards of Hedley ISD.

Qualifications:

• Experience in education is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of basketball rules, strategies, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a coaching team.
• Commitment to the academic and athletic success of student-athletes.
