Head Girls Soccer Coach

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee all levels of Cottage Grove Girls Soccer, including youth soccer.
• Monitor academic progress and eligibility.
• Effectively analyze and teach the fundamentals skills and strategies of the sport.
• Plan, organize, conduct, and evaluate practices session along with develop, implement, and evaluate match plans and strategies.
• Serve as a leader, mentor, and role-model to the student-athletes of the program.
• Work with AD to prepare competitive team schedule, and fund-raising initiatives.
• Prepare, monitor, and manage team budget.
• Select, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches.

Qualifications:

• Prior head coaching experience preferred at high school or high-level club or development level.
• Successful applicants must comply with the OHA rule on the COVID-19 vaccine mandate by either being fully vaccinated or have an accepted religious or medical exception by the South Lane School District.
• The candidate must sign a safety expectation form if granted a medical or religious exception.
