Head High School Track & Field Coach

Responsibilities:

• Understand and be able to teach current best-practices for high school athletics.
• Create a learning environment that inspires and stretches all players to improve.
• Promote a focused and fun atmosphere that inspires players to improve.
• Develop all practice plans and game plans.
• Work collaboratively with all levels of the program.
• Oversee necessary video, scouting, and statistics.
• Complete necessary program details with athletic department.

Personal Qualifications:

• Passion for high school students and ability to communicate effectively with them.
• Willing to coach in a Christian based educational system.
• Passion for this sport and high school athletics.

Professional Qualifications:

• Preferred education degree: Bachelors or higher.
• Previous coaching experience in this sport: 3-5 yrs as head coach or 5-7 yrs as an assistant coach.
• Previous program leadership qualifications.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong support of school’s Catholic mission and focus.
