Head Ice Hockey Coach

Greenwich Academy seeks an outstanding coach to lead its ice hockey program. Celebrating its 32nd year of fielding a team, GA has a long tradition in the sport and is looking for a Head Ice Hockey Coach who will develop its current players in both its Middle and Upper School programs while creating greater visibility to attract and retain local talent. GA trains and competes at Chelsea Piers Stamford where we have a prime ice slot and locker room. A member of NEPSAC, GA competes against local day and boarding schools. Coaches at Greenwich Academy are passionate about their sports and dedicated to the health and well-being of their athletes above all else.

The successful candidate will have:

• Prior ice hockey coaching experience, specifically in club or school level.
• Ability to organize and administer training plan and to direct practices.
• Exceptional communication and motivational skills.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with our community.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent personal character.
• Expertise and motivation to assist athletes hoping to continue their careers in college.
