Head Men’s Basketball Coach

Virginia University of Lynchburg, a member of the NCCAA, invites applications for the position of Head Men's Basketball Coach. This position includes a stipend. Opportunities for on campus employment are available.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as a representative of the University, promoting VUL's mission, image and goals to colleagues and the community.
• Responsible for all aspects of the program including recruiting, monitoring academic progress, fundraising, scheduling, and all other functions involved with leading a highly regarded intercollegiate basketball program.
• Abide by all regulations, policies, and procedures of the NCCAA and Virginia University of Lynchburg.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of coaching experience at the collegiate level.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work with and facilitate the success of a diverse student population.
• Available for flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
