The Head Men's Golf Coach will be responsible for organizing and administering all aspects of the varsity program including: coaching, recruiting, event scheduling, supervision of program personnel, fund-raising, marketing, budget management, and compliance with NCAA and the Summit League Conference rules/regulations. The Head Coach will demonstrate an on-going commitment to the principles of multiculturalism and diversity through hiring practices, training and development programming, campus collaborations, or involvement and participation in university/divisional multiculturalism and diversity projects or initiatives. The Head Coach will embrace and model a positive coaching philosophy and associated techniques; insisting on a culture of respect and positive communication.

The Head Coach is responsible for judgment related to conduct issues of student-athletes such as athletic performance, social issues and interaction with teammates, which may require some form of discipline or suspension.
The Head Coach is responsible for physical and emotional welfare of student-athletes during the academic season, including on and off campus representation of the University of Denver.
The Head Coach issues and discusses rules for the program related to all aspects of expectations of performance and conduct socially and academically.
Judgement of the head coach is necessary to the overall performance of his/her athletic team, coaches and budget.
The coach must adhere to Divisional guidelines for administrative performance, the conference and NCAA rules and polices.
Team policies and rules are the responsibility of the head coach and require decision making that is in the best interest of the welfare of the student-athletes in the program and the University of Denver.
