Head Men’s Ice Hockey Coach

Lake Forest College is accepting applications for the position of Head Men’s Ice Hockey Coach. The position is a full-time, non-teaching faculty/administrative staff appointment with benefits. The chosen candidate will work as a member of the Forester athletic department “team” and support the mission and goals of the department and the College.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree and previous collegiate coaching, recruiting, and administrative preferred.
• An ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to working in intercollegiate athletics and to the principles that guide Division III athletics.
• Successful candidates will demonstrate the potential for collaborative leadership, a high degree of personal initiative, and a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusiveness.
• Candidates must have the ability to relate effectively to current and prospective student-athletes, exhibit strong time management and organizational skills, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as knowledge of NCAA and Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) rules and regulations.
