Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Athletics is currently accepting applications for the Head Coach position for the Men's Lacrosse program.

Responsibilities:

• Provide fundamental and advanced instruction of men’s lacrosse techniques and philosophy to student-athletes.
• Design and implement a strategy to recruit qualified student-athletes
• Design practice plans and conduct practice sessions
• Prepare strategies for competition
• Provide support for the academic progress of student-athletes
• Develop and maintaining effective interactions with students and faculty/staff
• Comply with all NCAA, Sunshine State Conference and ERAU rules and regulations
• Provide leadership in community service and fundraising events for the program
• On-site management of practices and games.
• Supervise all assistant coaches and student workers.
• Schedule all athletic contests.
• Arrange for transportation, housing, and meals for trips.
• Responsible for the purchase and care of uniforms and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Requires previous participation in and expert knowledge of sport specialty.
• Ability to motivate student-athletes and the capability to teach sport-appropriate skills and strategy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational ability required.
• Position requires public relations and fundraising skills.
