Head Men’s Soccer Coach

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide leadership, teach and demonstrate basic fundamental soccer skills.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting, retention, and academic success of student-athletes.
• Knowledge of NCAA compliance rules and regulations is required.
• Must have the ability to work evenings and weekends, as well as travel as needed.
• Must have the ability to use computer technology.
• Must demonstrate the ability and capacity to lead with consistent and contagious energy.
• Must be able to operate motor vehicles within the Commonwealth and Virginia State University written guidelines.
• Must possess a valid Virginia Driver’s License within 60 days of hire and throughout the duration of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, Master’s degree is a plus.
• CPR/AED Certification.
