Administers a competitive men’s soccer program that emphasizes integrity and the educational welfare of its student-athletes, and strives for excellence within the University’s mission; coordinates recruitment; prepares reports; participates in program and budget planning; develops athletic event schedules; and serves on the Athletics Council; serves as the liaison between the Athletics Department and the Office of Admissions to coordinate on-site visits, shares information on prospective student-athletes and/or leads, and coordination of off-campus recruiting activities.
A minimum four years of soccer coaching experience.
Fluency in American Sign Language.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of NCAA and NEAC guidelines.
Demonstrated skills in developing and motivating students both athletically and academically.
Strong commitment to the values of a liberal arts education and an understanding of teacher/coach model in a NCAA Division III athletics program.
The successful candidate will undergo a background check that must be cleared prior to workingat Gallaudet University.
