The Head Men's Tennis Coach is responsible for instructing and training student-athletes on the rules and fundamentals of their sport, while providing oversight, direction, and implementing all aspects of a NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis program.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Head Men’s Tennis Coach’s primary responsibility is to instruct and train student-athletes in their sport. The head coach will direct all aspects of a Division I Men’s Tennis program and teach and coach technique/performance and strategy. The head coach will direct the organization of games, practices, and conditioning programs. This position will also coordinate program needs, including equipment, travel and transportation and manage program within budget guidelines. The head coach will be expected to adhere to NCAA, conference and institutional rules and regulations, and a commitment to operate within those rules.
This position requires knowledge and capabilities normally acquired through a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Education or a related field is required. Coaching experience at the collegiate level and/or exceptional high school coaching credentials is preferred.
