Head Men’s Tennis Coach

The Creighton University Athletic Department is now accepting applications for the position of Head Men’s Tennis Coach. Creighton is a Catholic and Jesuit comprehensive university committed to excellence in its selected undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. Creighton, located in Omaha, Nebraska, competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the BIG EAST Conference.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and organizing practice and workouts designed to properly prepare student-athletes to excel in competition.
• Recruiting.
• On court coaching at practices/ player development and matches; team building.
• Fundraising.
• Compliance meetings and other compliance responsibilities.
• Collaborating with the Sports Performance staff to ensure the development of effective conditioning and weight training programs.
• Scheduling home and away matches along with booking lodging, flights, ground transportation, officials, etc.
• Fostering an environment that develops the whole person.
• Individual and team meetings; videos; opponent scouting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of coaching experience at the collegiate level desired.
• Coaching experience at a Division I institution.
