Head Men’s Tennis Coach

The Head Tennis Coach is responsible for leading all facets of the Men’s Tennis Program. Understand the mission of the NCAA, Division III, athletics and the role of an athletic department in creating a positive environment for student-athlete. Understand and support the vision and mission of Elmhurst University.

Essential Functions:

• Organizes and operates an effective and competitive Men’s Tennis Program.
• Coordination of recruitment of student-athletes.
• Attend all pre-season conditioning and non-traditional season practices for the tennis program. Attend and participate in all team planning sessions with coaching staff.
• Aide in the planning, organizing, and executing of all in-season practice sessions for tennis.
• Conducts on-court coaching during intercollegiate contests.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of Elmhurst University, NCAA, CCIW and rules and regulations.
• Adhere to NCAA Compliance Regulations.
• Endorses and supports other sports within the Athletic Department and fulfill other secondary duties as outlined by the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Sense of organization and self-motivation.
