Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organizes and supervises Moravian Academy’s program for grades 6th- 8th.
- Promotes the individual growth of each student athlete as well as embracing a team-first approach to success.
- Assists the Director of Athletics and Physical Education in scheduling activities to ensure the development of the program.
- Inventories and maintains all equipment and compiles related statistics.
- Trains and evaluates assistant coaches and playing participants.
- Acts as a liaison person in relating the program to the staff, administration, Moravian Academy community, and general public.
- Coordinates the overall practice schedule for the program.
- Plans and develops game responsibilities.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience coaching girl’s Lacrosse in a college, high school, or club environment.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a previous background in independent schools or similar college-preparatory programs.
