Head Softball Coach

The Softball Head Coach is responsible for the overall management of the Softball program. This position is responsible for all aspects of practice and competition preparation, recruitment of student athletes, and the comprehensive operation of the program with student athlete welfare as a guiding principle. Management of the program must adhere to all budgetary guidelines, as well as NCAA, Mid-American Conference (MAC) and University of Toledo policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of successful collegiate softball coaching or equivalent experience required.
• Collegiate and/or professional playing experience required.
• Ability to effectively communicate and counsel student-athletes on requirements for personal conduct, academic performance and athletic performance.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and ethical behavior.
