Description
Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supports Facility program design teams to support overall volume and create efficiencies in our process.
- Owns and updates programming templates.
- Participates and leads program design meetings with staff.
- Participates and leads continuing education meetings with staff.
- Consistently conducts training session audits and delivers feedback to coaches.
- Partners with marketing to produce social media educational content.
- Implements new exercises to SSP exercise library and teaches staff how to coach and cue.
- Drafts and continually iterates SOPs based on learnings.
- Leads training sessions with adults and youth (and is the first person to cover for vacation coverage and coach outages).
- Leads our SSP internship program to onboard new coaches to the coaching and performance side of our business.
- Leads our community internship relationships with school programs
- Leads our community training partner relationships with sports clubs.
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years in coaching and training.
- Has a “start-up” mindset and is comfortable with ambiguity and eager to develop new processes and ways of working.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers in a timely manner.
- Maintains a positive attitude and provides exemplary customer service.
- Skilled with a variety of office technology – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat PDF.
- Provides the highest level of professionalism – is punctual, resourceful, independent, detail-oriented, and prioritizes accuracy.
- Accountability: reliability and personal responsibility – honors commitments, takes ownership of work and promptly corrects mistakes to the greatest extent possible; meets deadlines and continuously communicates.
