Head Swimming Coach

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport, a commitment to developing athletes, and the ability to inspire and guide a competitive team. As the Head Swimming Coach, you will be responsible for planning and executing training sessions, developing swimmers' skills, and fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the swim program, including practices, meets, and team activities.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate swimmers to achieve their full potential both in and out of the pool.
• Manage assistant coaches ensuring alignment with the program's goals and standards.
• Design and implement comprehensive training programs that develop swimmers' technical skills, strength, and endurance.
• Provide individualized feedback and instruction to improve athletes' performance.
• Monitor swimmers' progress and adjust training plans as needed to meet team and individual goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a swimming coach, preferably at the high school or collegiate level.
• Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, training methods, and competitive strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate athletes of varying skill levels.
• We will help with certification in CPR, First Aid, and relevant coaching credentials preferred.
