Description
The head coach of men’s and women’s tennis is responsible for the administration of all areas related to the operation of our Division III tennis program. They are responsible for building and maintaining a roster which will be competitive in the Centennial Conference. This position is responsible for recruiting and developing talented student-athletes who understand and embrace the balance between academics and athletics.
Essential Functions:
- Educate and develop student-athletes to prepare them for success within the tennis program, classroom, and community.
- Plan and implement valuable learning experiences where student-athletes are challenged to excel both in the classroom and within tennis program.
- Implement periodic check-ins/meetings with student-athletes to support their academic pursuits and their navigation of the student-athlete experience.
- Prepare workout/practice sessions and coaching strategies that will maximize performance opportunities for the student-athletes participating in the program.
- Conduct team building activities to create and sustain a strong team culture.
Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred: Master’s degree.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
- 5-8 years Work Experience.
