The head coach is responsible for the teaching and mentoring of student–athletes in a competitive environment. They will model behavior and promote standards of the highest quality that align with the mission and vision of Taylor University and the athletic department. This position will be responsible for maintaining an awareness and developing strategies that would be consistent with the most current philosophies within the scope of track and field. This would include being aware of and adhering to all NAIA, Crossroads League and Taylor University rules and regulations with regards to eligibility, recruiting, etc.
It would be preferred that this individual would have collegiate coaching experience and be able to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience with the development of an effective competitive and recruiting strategy that fits within the NAIA, League regulations and mission of the university.
