Head Varsity Golf Coach

The Head Varsity Golf Coach (co-ed) is responsible for coaching, mentorship, skill and techniques instruction, and building a sense of community within the team, program, and school. The Head Varsity Golf Coach works under the guidance and in coordination with the Co-Directors of Athletics in achieving the school and program wide goals.

Essential Functions:

• Attend all team activities (matches, practices, gatherings, meetings).
• Ride or drive school provided transportation with team.
• Weekly email communication with players and families during the season.
• Attend all required athletic department or league meetings.
• Responsible for all athletes, equipment, and facilities used while coaching.
• Able to teach high school athletes fundamental skills and strategy for golf.
• Coordinate with local golf courses for school practices and matches.

Key Skills and Attributes:

• Interested individuals should possess good communication and leadership skills.
• Previous High School or College Level playing or coaching experience is preferred.
• Good driving record and ability to drive school minibus.
• Knowledge of fundamental golf skill and strategy.
