Head Volleyball Coach

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore invites resumes for a full-time, twelve month, position with full benefits. The position will report to the Director of Athletics. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Knowledge of NCAA and MEAC rules and regulations.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in monitoring student athlete’s academic progress, retention, and graduation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with students, faculty, administration, alumni, and the general public.
• Knowledge of Data Volley and computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Administer all phases of the Division I Volleyball Program. This includes but is not limited to coaching, budget management, recruitment, program administration of student-athletes, scheduling, team organization, staff supervision, and ordering equipment.
• A proven working knowledge of NCAA Division I recruiting guidelines and the Academic Performance Rate (APR) in a successful environment is a must.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
