Head Women’s and Men’s Cross Country Coach

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in maintaining equipment.
• Creating and implementing team-building exercises with special attention to team cohesiveness and sportsmanship.
• Supporting and encouraging the educational pursuits of student-athletes, making every effort to ensure that all student-athletes meet their academic requirements.
• Monitoring student-athletes’ performance based on academic and intercollegiate eligibility criteria.
• Assisting student-athletes in progressing toward a degree in a defined academic program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in physical education, recreation, athletics administration or other appropriate discipline required.
• Master's Degree preferred. At least two years of College playing and/or coaching experience preferred, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
• A commitment to the Mission of the College, the athletics program, the development of character in student-athletes and the academic program.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, highly motivated and organized.
• Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
