Head Women’s Basketball Coach

The Head Women’s Basketball Coach reports to the Director of Athletics. This position is responsible for the organization and administration of the basketball program. The successful candidate will develop effective and positive communication with the students, faculty, alumni, and community.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:

• HS Diploma.
• Evidence of strong organizational and communication skills.
• Current knowledge of NCAA or NJCAA regulations.
• Ability to successfully recruit college level student athletes.
• Previous coaching experience.
• Evidence of a commitment to academic excellence including athlete graduation.
• Ability to interact effectively with student-athletes, colleagues, and the public.
• Capable and willing to actively plan and participate in fundraising, promotions, and other similar endeavors as they relate to the basketball program and the entire Athletics Department.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher.
• Demonstrated recruiting of successful student-athletes preferred.
• College coaching experience preferred.
