Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Women’s Basketball program.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-character student-athletes capable of competing at a high level athletically and academically.
- Create and sustain a culture of excellence, accountability, and inclusion on and off the court.
- Develop and implement comprehensive practice plans, in-game strategies, and player development programs focused on high-pressure defense and team execution.
- Oversee assistant coaches and support staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Monitor student-athlete academic progress to ensure eligibility, retention, and timely graduation in coordination with academic support personnel.
- Promote the program through fundraising, alumni relations, community engagement, and media interaction.
- Manage the program’s budget with integrity and fiscal responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Three to five years of collegiate coaching experience at the NCAA Division I level, including recruiting responsibilities.
- Proven success in developing and mentoring student-athletes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
