Central College
Description
Responsible to the Director of Athletics for the overall management and leadership of the intercollegiate women's golf program. This program will support the philosophy, mission, and standards of Central College, the American Rivers Conference (ARC) and the NCAA, Division III.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the program budget in collaboration with the associate athletics director of business affairs.
- Develop an out of season strength and conditioning program in collaboration with the Strength and Conditioning staff/coaches in accordance with NCAA rules.
- Develop and direct camps, clinics, and fund-raising activities to support the program.
- Work cooperatively with faculty members, admission, alumni, and development office personnel, the sports information director, all student support services, and all athletic department personnel.
- Attend staff development activities and coach's meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
- Three to five years of coaching experience required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certified or ability to obtain certification within six months required.
- Ability to travel; night and week-end work required.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to be insured to drive college vehicles required.
