Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach

The position of Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach will hold a 100% appointment in the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (“the Department”) and will report directly to UWL’s Director of Athletics. The coach will manage the daily operations of a Division III intercollegiate women’s lacrosse program competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (“WIAC”), with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the supervision of the assistant coaching staff and the planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, and administering of the women’s lacrosse program (“UWL Women’s Lacrosse”) to meet University and Department objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience may be substituted on a year for year basis in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• 1-3 years head lacrosse coaching experience at the high school level, club level or above OR substantial assistant lacrosse coaching at the intercollegiate or professional levels.
• The ability to have and maintain a valid driver’s license meeting the criteria for driving a vehicle on University/State business is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s or other post-graduate degree.
• 3-5 years of relevant coaching experience.
• Demonstrated experience in college recruiting.
• Understanding of and commitment to the NCAA Division III ideal.
