Head Women’s & Men’s Cross Country Coach

Responsibilities:

• Recruitment of student-athletes;
• Monitoring academic and social progress for student-athletes;
• Remain apprised of NCAA playing rules updates;
• Supervising and managing team travel;
• Managing and monitoring team budgets;
• Providing team and individual skill development;
• Preparing and leading practices and competitions;
• Managing team equipment and gear;
• Communicate regularly with administrators, athletic training staff, support staff, head coaches, student-athletes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree is required from college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization;
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with high school, collegiate, and/or club level cross country/track programs;
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications, or ability to obtain upon hire;
• Ability to lift, carry, etc up to 50 pounds;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
• Excellent teaching, verbal, written, and computer communication skills.
