Description
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment of student-athletes;
- Monitoring academic and social progress for student-athletes;
- Remain apprised of NCAA playing rules updates;
- Supervising and managing team travel;
- Managing and monitoring team budgets;
- Providing team and individual skill development;
- Preparing and leading practices and competitions;
- Managing team equipment and gear;
- Communicate regularly with administrators, athletic training staff, support staff, head coaches, student-athletes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree is required from college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization;
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with high school, collegiate, and/or club level cross country/track programs;
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications, or ability to obtain upon hire;
- Ability to lift, carry, etc up to 50 pounds;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
- Excellent teaching, verbal, written, and computer communication skills.
