Head Women’s Soccer Coach

The Women's Soccer Coach is responsible for all phases of building and maintaining a successful women's intercollegiate soccer program. This includes the preparation of the team for competition, monitoring the academic progress and success of the student athletes, and the recruiting of quality student athletes to participate in the program.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

• Recruiting;
• Practice preparation, in and out of season training;
• Game management;
• Academic supervision;
• Success of student athletics;
• Safe transportation of team members to and from away contests;
• Adhere to all NJCAA, Region 19, College and Athletic Department rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Past playing and/or coaching experience in the sport is required;
• Associate degree required;
• Valid driver's license, which is currently in good standing;
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays;
• Possess the ability to work well and communicate effectively with prospective and current students, staff, faculty, administration, and colleagues and community partners;
• Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff and a commitment to a student-centered environment.
