Description
Responsibilities:
-
Responsible for all facets of administration for the women’s soccer program, to include game scheduling, practice scheduling, weight and conditioning training, and travel and lodging arrangements. Will also be responsible for the management of the team. Will attend clinics, workshops, conferences and NCAA Rules Education trainings to remain current in matters pertaining to Women’s Soccer.

Assists Athletic Academic Achievement and Compliance in monitoring the academic progress of student athletes that are in the program.

Recruits student athletes with sound academic and athletic abilities to enhance and further advance the program.

Adheres to and monitors the compliance of all established rules and regulations, policies and procedures of all governing entities, ie: the NCAA, the SWAC, the TAMU system, this University and its Athletic Department. Will report any violations of these established rules and regulations, policies and procedures to the proper officials.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Five or more years of Division 1 collegiate level women’s soccer coaching experience.

Knowledge of the Division 1 NCAA Rules.

Knowledge of MS Office Suite or comparable software.

Good written and verbal communication skills

Good organizational skills
-
Well demonstrated skills in leadership and management.

Ability to mentor student-athletes to excel above their expectations.
