Description
The Head Women's Volleyball Coach is responsible for all facets of conducting a successful women's volleyball program at the NCAA Division 1 level. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics with regular interaction with the Director of NCAA Compliance and the Director of Business.
Duties:
- On the floor coaching during practice and competition.
- Recruiting of top-quality student-athletes.
- Fundraising.
- Promotional and public relations activities.
- Speaking engagements and media interviews.
- Administration and coaching of summer camps.
- Compliance with all NCAA, conference and university rules and regulations demonstrating professional integrity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Successful Intercollegiate volleyball coaching experience.
- Competitive experience as intercollegiate volleyball player.
- Successful head or assistant coaching experience with NCAA Division I.
- Ability to recruit top-quality student-athletes at the NCAA Division I level.
- Familiarity with Northwest recruiting areas.
- Demonstrated administrative, public relations, and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish good rapport and working relationships with student-athletes, administration, coaching staffs, university personnel, and the general public.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to comply with NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.
