Head Women’s Volleyball Coach

SUNY Poly is looking for a Head Women's Volleyball Coach to effectively coach, direct and administer all aspects of a successful women's volleyball program. Ensure that the varsity women's volleyball team meets all compliance standards. Ensure that the women's volleyball program represents SUNY Poly in the best possible way on and off of the court.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree is required from a college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience coaching volleyball, preferably at the collegiate level.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to 1ift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Experience managing student employees and/or assistant coaches.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs:
• Excellent teaching, verbal, written and computer communication skills.
• Familiarity with NCAA., Conference, and University rules and regulations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that could include mornings, nights, and weekends. and holidays in order to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to provide leadership, oversight, and direction to staff members to ensure that goals, programs, activities, and personnel practices are consistent with and contribute to the Institution's goals and strategies.
