Northeastern Junior College is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Head Wrestling Coach. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the wrestling program to include recruitment, retention and graduation of student athletes, fundraising, and marketing of the program. It also includes responsibilities to game management, program fundraising and department wide fundraising. In addition, this position will be responsible for the administration of the wrestling program as well as the evaluation of assistant coaches. This is a professional staff position reporting directly to the Athletic Director/Event Center Director.
- Bachelor's degree required; major in health, recreation, sports management or related field preferred.
- Prior knowledge and experience coaching wrestling.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
- Prior experience working in a team setting.
