Performs instructional / coaching duties in the USAFA Preparatory School Athletic Department; instructs a sequence of physical education courses including introduction to physical development, introduction to boxing, basic swimming, and basic combatives along with teaching study skills development.
An earned Bachelor's degree (must be completed by application deadline) in any field and ten years of successful full-time collegiate or post grad / military academy coaching experience in wrestling. Coaching experience to include: scheduling, technique demonstration, supporting recruiting efforts prospective athletes, tracking of team activities compliance, logistical operations, budget management, and assisting with rehabilitation protocols for injured student athletes. Demonstrated priority of ensuring success of the student-athlete experience. All candidates must show potential for excellence in instructing physical education, professional coaching, and service.
