Head Wrestling Coach

Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in the techniques and strategies for the sport/activity.
• Previous Experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required.
• Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches’ Education Program.
• Ability to perform duties with an awareness of all district requirements and board policies.

Essential Duties:

• Acts under the direction of the head coach.
• Plans and directs a regular program of practice in the season.
• Maintains competency in rules, regulations, and coaching techniques for the sport/activity.
• To adhere to the MPS Athletics Code of Ethics and Conduct for Sports Coaches.
• Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sports.
