Health and Physical Education Teacher

Qualifications:

• Must hold Bachelor’s Degree in related area and hold or be eligible to hold North Carolina Teacher Licensure in area of assignment.
• Self – Motivated, Strong Teamwork and Organizational Skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach the North Carolina Curriculum for Health & Physical Education (Grades 6-12).
• Assume personal responsibility for the academic progress of all students.
• Lesson plans, assignments, and other instructional materials and methods.
• Use consistent school-wide practices and individualized methods to engage students in the classroom and gym.
• Create, monitor, and sustain a disciplined school culture of high academic and behavioral standards.
• Provide structure in the classroom by developing and reinforcing school-wide rules and expectations.
