High School Athletic Director

Essential Job Functions:

• Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
• Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of Jesus Christ.
• Supports and adheres to the Code of Conduct and policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese of Detroit.
• Abides by the Confidentiality Policy set forth in the Divine Child Employee Handbook.
• Supervises, manages, and delegates responsibility to Athletic Office personnel, including the Assistant Athletic Director, administrative assistant, and transportation staff.
• Plans, organizes, and implements a comprehensive athletic program for students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sports/Athletic Management, or related field.
• Current CPR/AED certification and first aid training.
• Teacher’s or coaching-related certification.
• Experience in education, coaching, or related field.
