Description
Examples of Duties:
- Attend all practices, games/matches, competitions, and/or tournaments.
- Be available for every practice until participants have left the grounds and other meetings as required, including pre-season meeting.
- Must be flexible.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of fundamentals and rules of sport.
- Instruct athletes in both technical and tactical sides of the sport.
- Ability to assume responsibility for leadership over student program participants.
- Understanding and/or willing to learn all of the district regulations, WIAA, and League rules.
- Ability to apply individual discipline, emphasizing safety precautions, and instructing team members in the rules and techniques of the activity.
- Strong background on fundamentals of the sport.
- Able to break down the game to simple step-by-step instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, athletes, and parents.
