High School Health/PE Teacher

The Health/PE teacher helps students develop skills across a variety of athletic practices, instills and models values of good sportsmanship, and plans engaging lessons that cover North Carolina's health and wellness curriculum. The teacher will ensure the safety of students at all times, while fostering an environment where students are encouraged to participate and uplift those around them.

Qualifications:

• A NC teaching license or currently be working towards licensure is preferred.
• Must be a strong communicator, organized, a team player, and strong collaborator.
• Must be tech-savvy or open to learning new technologies including virtual reality, 3D printing, using e-readers, teaching remotely, etc.
• Must be a lifelong learner.
• Must have a passion for high school students.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred but not required.
