High School Health, Safety and Physical Education Teacher

Essential Duties:

• Develop engaging online learning content.
• Demonstrate use of media and techniques live and in video recordings.
• Record original instructional videos and content for tech courses.
• Assess and provide timely feedback on student work.
• Interact with students and families through course or school-related sharing of information.
• Deliver whole-group and small group instruction during live, synchronous virtual class sessions.
• Hold office hours daily.
• Contribute to IEP input for special education students and attend IEP meetings.
• Perform other miscellaneous professional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, Supervisor of Curriculum, and Data Specialist.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education required.
• Instructional I Educational Certification in Health and Physical Education PK-12 (4805)..
• Instructional II Educational Certification, a plus.
• Current (dated within a year) Act 34, 114, and 151 clearances.
• The ability to integrate technology into the curriculum and instruction.
• Must have excellent technical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures.
• Passion for utilizing educational technologies as a tool to increase student learning.
• Embrace opportunities to adapt and problem solve in a unique educational environment.
