High School – Physical Education Teacher

Qualifications:

• Must possess and maintain a valid Michigan Teacher Certificate, with MX or MC endorsement.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team to plan instruction and activities for students.
• Demonstrate ability to develop and foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Teach assigned content to high school students and show written evidence of preparation.
• Positive attendance is required.
• Utilize technology to enhance and individualize instruction and stay current with changing trends.
• Communicate student progress and concerns regularly with parents and colleagues.
• Develop and maintain classroom with appropriate routines and procedures.
• Work collaboratively within department to implement best practices and meet students’ needs.
• Administer standardized student assessments when needed.
