Black Knight Sports & Entertainment LLC owns the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, and is launching an American Hockey League (AHL) team in Henderson, Nevada that will serve as the primary minor league affiliate to the Golden Knights.
Oversee all aspects of creating and maintaining an Adult hockey program. This includes all areas but not limited to accepting registrations, budgeting, collecting payment, creating a game schedule, verifying team rosters, creating league rules and structure, scheduling referees and scorekeepers, creating league standings, ordering equipment, and nightly oversight of league game play.
Oversee all Tournament programs that are hosted by or in collaboration with Lifeguard Arena or the Vegas Golden Knights.
Provide assistance to various internal departments of the Vegas Golden Knights, its AHL affiliate team, and the Lifeguard Arena.
Serve as an on-site manager to aid in all areas of providing customer service to guests, and oversight of a part-time staff. Maintaining and establishing a corporate standard for conduct, safety, and facility.
Key Competencies and Experience:
Ability to remain flexible in work schedule to accommodate weekday and weekend, as well as accommodate day and night shifts.
Perform a high level of critical thinking and customer service skills.
Possess a high level of written and verbal skills.
Must have previous experience in managing a part-time staff.
Minimum of 4 years of management experience.
Ability to inspire a team collaborative environment.
Ability to give as well as take direction well, and work with team to discuss and plan new ideas. Must be able to take in and apply feedback from numerous sources and implement into performance.
Ability to demonstrate a flexible can do attitude.
Self-starter, proactive, highly motivated.
