Description
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in exercise science, kinesiology, health, or related field from a regionally accredited university.
- CSCS certification.
- Strength and conditioning coaching experience at the junior, collegiate, international, professional or similar level.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft excel and other applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivers strength and conditioning services to members of the intercollegiate men's and women's hockey teams. Including, but not limited to, scheduling, designing and administrating programming, serving as a resource for nutritional education and other duties as assigned.
- Design and daily administration of strengthening, stretching, agility/plyometric, speed development and all conditioning exercises to assigned teams in order to obtain desired results.
- Provide instruction in safe and effective spotting procedures for all lifts to insure that maximum effect of the exercise and that the safety of the athlete is maintained.
- Administer and evaluate testing procedures to identify both athlete and team strengths and weaknesses.
- Manage and maintain inventory and strength & conditioning infrastructure.
