Indoor Track & Field Assistant Coach

The varsity coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching a high-level Indoor Track & Field program while adhering to rules and guidelines set forth by the school, Dual County League and MIAA. Successful candidates will have the ability to work with all coaches and athletes to develop a cohesive and competitive program.

Expectations:

• Teaching the L-S Athletics Curriculum.
• Must be able to take the MIAA Coaching Course.
• Ability to drive the school van to away games.
• Ability to work with high school population.
• Understanding of high school sports operations.
• Work well with high school students, parents and other coaches.
• Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Be prepared, punctual and ethical.

Experience Preferred:

• Experience coaching Track & Field at the high school level.
• Experience competing in Track & Field at the high school level or higher.
