Instructor of Physical Education

The Instructor of Physical Education will teach undergraduate and graduate courses (typical load is four 3-credit hour courses each semester); mentor undergraduate and graduate students as needed; serve on undergraduate and master theses and dissertation committees, and provide service to the department, college, university, community, and profession.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Earned masters (M.Ed., M.S., etc.) in Physical Education or related field conferred by start of employment from an accredited institution of higher.

• Evidence or promise of highly effective teaching.
• Evidence or potential of service to the department, institution, and profession.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience of teaching courses at the university level.
• Evidence of effective student mentoring/advising.
• Experience teaching at the graduate level.
• Experience creating new courses.
• Experience with implementing accreditation standards.
