Description
The position is responsible for all aspects of leading the men's and women's tennis programs. This position is designated as Campus Security Authority (CSA).
Responsibilities:
- Manages men's and women's tennis program budgets, including scholarship, travel, operating, and equipment budgets
- Plans supervises and manages practices and strength and conditioning program; coordinates with assistant coaches; instructs players
- Recruits talented student athletes; evaluates players; communicates with coaches and prospective student athletes.
- Advises and monitors the academic progress of student athletes.
- Schedules and manages games; coordinates with other coaches.
- Purchases program uniforms and equipment; submits requisitions for purchases.
- Coordinates team travel; prepares expense reports and travel authorizations.
Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
- Must possess a current valid drivers license with acceptable driving record and pass a yearly Motor Vehicle Report review.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing.
- Must successfully pass a credit check.
