Junior Swim Team Coach

The Jennersville YMCA is looking for a Junior Swim Coach to assist the head coach/director of competitive aquatics and all other swim team coaches to support the delivery of a high quality, safe, inclusive, and competitive swim team program.

Responsibilities:

• Assist coaching staff in supporting practices, meets and other team activities, keeping the program goals in mind.
• Maintain records as required (attendance, progress reports, etc.)
• Actively promote YMCA Character Development and Core Values.
• Follow all Branch and Association policies and procedures.
• Present a professional image at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Competitive swimming experience or swim instruction experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate swim stroke techniques.
• Obtain and maintain all new hires certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire.
• Any additional certifications as required by the YMCA or USA Swimming.
